Donation TTS vs. generated audio
Most of what streamers call "Twitch TTS" is donation text-to-speech: a viewer tips with a message, and your alert service reads it out live. That runs inside StreamElements, Streamlabs, or a similar provider, and you configure the voice, minimum amount, and word filters there.
This tool does something different but complementary: it produces audio files. That covers everything the live reader cannot — custom alert sounds, intros and outros, BRB and starting-soon segments, and pre-recorded bits you drop into OBS.

Keeping TTS from becoming a problem
Live donation TTS gets abused — that is why most streamers set a minimum amount, enable word filters, and add a short delay before the message plays. Pre-generated audio sidesteps the issue entirely for anything you script yourself, which is why a lot of channels use live TTS only for tips and generated audio for everything else.
